NEC Launches "Service Convergence Integrated Platform" on Global Market

NEC Corporation today announced the worldwide release of a new converged multimedia and SIP voice solution, "Service Convergence Integrated Platform". The SCI Platform enables VoIP and multimedia services, as well as offering a small start for operators such as fixed-line carriers or broadband internet operators for smooth transition to an IMS-based next generation network "NGN" in the future.
